Within each of us are our own seeds of growth, self-realization and expanded awareness. Self-understanding coupled with acceptance are key in potentiating healthy maturation. The art of psychotherapy is the creation of a secure, meaningful, genuine 'holding' context which tolerates the ebbs and flows of the challenges of therapy culminating in resolution of issues bringing the client to therapy.

My job as a Licensed Clinical Psychologist is first and foremost in collaboratively assisting my clients on their own unique journey of self-discovery. The work happens within this secure, trusting, empathetic therapeutic alliance. With 25+ years of clinical training and experience, utilizing a wide range intervention strategies; the work involves resolving underlying self-destructive patterns of thought, behavior, emotions and/or attachments in order to alleviate symptoms/distress and facilitate growth.

Therapeutic intervention techniques address the mutually agreed upon therapeutic issues and goals established collaboratively. Depending upon set of presenting problems and issues, modalities may include: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Individual Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Short-Term Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, Family Therapy:Systemic/Structural/Strategic, Stress Reduction Interventions, MIndfulness, Clinical Hypnotherapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Modalities include: individual, couple, family as well as group psychotherapies.

I look forward to meeting with you when you are ready.

Peace
